As many of you already know, Iโm almost always on the road across Europe, and the first months of this year found me exactly like that โ moving, going from one place to another, with very little time to stay still.
January, February, and March went by fast. Faster than I would have liked. I had my camera with me everywhere, trying not to miss the simple things โ the right light, a gesture, a glance that appears and disappears in a split second.
There was nothing spectacular in the classic sense. Just life, as it is. But in all this movement, in those small moments, I found again the reasons why I photograph.
Iโve gathered a selection of photographs from this period. They are exactly like those months โ direct, without unnecessary explanations, but honest.

I started from Romania, an authentic country, full of life and tradition. I began at the Festival of the Bears, a special event, full of symbolism, where I could feel the pulse of traditions. There, every smile, every song seemed to call me toward something more. After that, I left for Lisbon, a city where the sun dances on the streets, where chaos embraces you, and the crowds, so many of them, seem to tell you stories at every corner. After that came Paris, with the charm of its narrow streets, and Rome, where every stone seems to hold a memory. Every step, every frame I captured reminds me that this journey is about people, about rhythms, and about every fleeting moment that, though passing, stays in the heart.

After Rome, I felt the need for a pause, but soon I was absorbed by the charm of Venice, with its vibrant festival, its carnival full of colour, where every mask hides a story. After that explosion of energy, I stepped into Naples, a city that showed me another side of raw authenticity, with its streets full of pure, honest life, a pulse that grabs you instantly. From there, I arrived in Porto, a calmer city, but with a very intriguing vibe, a balance between stillness and narrative. And then, I made a decisive leap towards Athens, a place still undiscovered in full, sincere, and untouched, where a beauty is revealed step by step. In all these travels, I always carry with me the lenses that define my vision: usually, I have three in my set, but I mainly use two, the 21mm and the 35mm. In each of these journeys, I also hold masterclasses, where I inspire people, show them how I approach a scene, how I work, how I see a composition, and I guide them patiently so that they can find their own style, so they feel how every frame comes to life.

After all the contrasts between Venice, Naples, Porto, and Athens, I stepped into a more modern zone, where the pace was entirely different. I arrived in Brussels, with its architecture full of bold ideas, then in Valencia, a city with a modern, clean vibe, where time seems to stand still. And so, I ended March in the fascinating Tokyo, a city that defies time, where the modern blends with tradition, and every corner holds a story waiting to be discovered. These cities, each with its own character, have transformed me, challenged me to see beyond appearances, and to find, in each place, a new perspective.

As it began, this year is just starting to take shape. I havenโt had time to do a full selection, so Iโve just posted a few images, as a snapshot of the journey thatโs just beginning. Weโll meet along the way, at the masterclasses I hold, where I hope youโll find inspiration and explore what it means to take meaningful photographs. (Photography is not made to impress others; photography is made to discover yourself.) Weโll see each other on the road.
