MASTERCLASS SINGAPORE — 25–26–27 SEPTEMBER 2026 Singapore is a city where cultures, architecture, light, and human interaction come together uniquely, making it one of the most fascinating destinations for street photography. For three intensive days, we will immerse ourselves in its streets, exploring how to create photographs that go beyond documentation and become meaningful visual stories. This masterclass is designed for photographers who want to develop a stronger personal vision, improve their ability to anticipate moments, and learn how to build compelling images through observation, timing, and composition. We will work in real-world situations, navigating the city together while discussing the creative and technical decisions behind successful street photography. Throughout the workshop, I will share my approach to finding photographs, reading a scene, working with light, layering elements, and creating images that communicate emotion and narrative. We will photograph in a variety of locations across Singapore, from busy commercial districts and traditional neighborhoods to quieter areas where everyday life unfolds naturally. Each day combines practical shooting sessions with group discussions and image reviews. These feedback sessions are an essential part of the experience, helping participants understand their strengths, identify areas for improvement, and refine their photographic voice. The workshop is open to photographers of all experience levels, from those taking their first steps in street photography to advanced photographers looking to deepen their practice and challenge themselves creatively. I recommend using lenses between 21mm and 50mm, as these focal lengths are particularly suited to street photography, but any camera system and focal length are welcome if they support the way you like to work. Prior to the workshop, a dedicated WhatsApp group will be created where all participants will receive practical information, workshop updates, and details regarding meeting points and daily schedules.
