Service Description

𝗕𝗨𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 — 𝗜𝗔Ș𝗜 — 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗝 𝗔 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 📅 25 June – 5 August 2027 Limited to 5 participants This is a visual journal across Romania — a continuous movement through places, people, and shifting atmospheres. From density to silence, from speed to stillness, each stop recalibrates the way you see. We begin in Bucharest — intense, unpredictable, alive. A city where layers overlap and nothing waits. Days are spent walking, observing, ananticipating. Moments appear and disappear quickly, shaped by chaos, contrast, and light. Then the rhythm changes. DAY 4 — Train to Iași The journey becomes part of the narrative. Frames emerge between stations, reflections, pauses, and passing faces. Observation sharpens in movement. DAY 5 — Bârnova (Village) A reset. Simplicity, quiet, and presence. Nothing performs — everything just exists. The work becomes slower, more precise, more honest. DAYS 6–7 — Iași A city with space to breathe. Time allows repetition, refinement, and deeper connection. Images are built, not chased. DAY 8 — Train to Cluj-Napoca Transit again. Fragments, transitions, in-between moments. A different kind of attention — more instinctive, more reactive. DAY 9 — Rimetea Clarity. Clean light. Minimalism. A place where composition simplifies and every element becomes intentional. DAYS 10–11 — Cluj-Napoca The final chapter. Contemporary energy, layered environments, and a return to complexity — now seen with more control, more awareness, more precision. Logistics & Approach Travel across the country will be done primarily by train, with local taxi transfers included. Movement is constant, and travel itself becomes part of the photographic process. This is a demanding rhythm. Long days, continuous observation, unpredictable conditions. Because of this, equipment should remain minimal and efficient. Mobility is essential. I work light, and I strongly recommend the same. A simplified setup improves reaction time, positioning, and endurance over long shooting days. Recommended focal lengths: • 35mm / 50mm — direct, intuitive, versatile • 70–200mm or 80–200mm — for distance, compression, and layered observation Consistency matters more than variety. Choose what you can rely on in motion. Participant Profile This is not for beginners. It is designed for photographers with travel experience, comfortable working in fast-changing environments such as trains, stations, crowded streets, and rural areas.
