Behind the noise and movement lies a world of subtle, powerful stories waiting to be photographed. This masterclass is built around that idea: slowing down in a fast city, observing more carefully, and creating images with intention. Across three days, we’ll explore contrasting neighbourhoods: • the raw chaos of the morning markets, • the narrow, layered streets of the historic centre, • the dense character of Quartieri Spagnoli, • and the calm evening light along the waterfront. To deepen the experience, we will also be accompanied by a local guide who knows the city intimately — its hidden corners, safest routes, interesting characters, and neighbourhood rhythms. This will help us access places and stories that most visitors never see. Each location will challenge your eye differently — from motion and abstraction to narrative clarity, from bold colours to moody black & white. You’ll learn to anticipate moments, compose quickly, and use light with purpose. What you’ll experience: • Daily themed walks through different areas of Naples • Guidance from a local guide familiar with the neighbourhoods we explore • Practical coaching on seeing, timing, and storytelling • On-location mentoring and individual feedback • Group discussions focused on intention and meaning • Support in developing your personal visual voice I will work with my usual street lenses — 21mm, 35mm, and 50mm — but you can bring any camera system you enjoy, digital or film.
