𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 & 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐮 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐮 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝟐𝟎 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟏 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 Join street and documentary photographer Ovidiu Selaru for two immersive days of photography in one of the world’s most dynamic and visually inspiring cities. This masterclass is designed for photographers who want to develop a stronger photographic eye, improve their compositions and create images with depth, emotion and narrative. The emphasis is on learning how to observe, anticipate and respond to real moments as they unfold. Throughout the two days, we will work directly on the streets of London and learn how to recognise photographic opportunities within everyday life. Ovidiu will explain how he reads a scene, chooses his position, prepares the camera before the moment happens and decides what should enter or remain outside the frame. During these two days, we will explore composition, anticipation, layering, documentary photography, fine art and street portraits. You will learn how to recognise meaningful moments, bring multiple elements together and create stronger images with depth, emotion and storytelling. We will explore timing and anticipation, learning how to remain with a scene, recognise when it is developing and wait until gesture, expression, movement and composition come together. The goal is not to photograph randomly, but to work with intention and understand why a photograph succeeds. You will also learn how to use natural light, shadows, reflections, colour and contrast to strengthen your compositions. Ovidiu will demonstrate how he approaches people, creates authentic street portraits and communicates with subjects even without a shared language. The small group allows Ovidiu to work closely with every photographer and adapt his guidance to their experience and personal style. Spend two days learning to see beyond the obvious and turn ordinary street situations into meaningful photographs.
