In this city, history, light, and everyday life intersect, creating a powerful and cinematic visual narrative. This experience is designed for photographers who want to refine their visual language, deepen their understanding of composition and rhythm, and learn how to build layered, meaningful images in constantly evolving urban environments. Throughout the workshop, we will focus on documentary layering — the art of creating visual depth within a single frame by combining people, movement, architecture, and context to tell authentic stories. You will also explore street portraiture, working with natural light and spontaneous human interactions to create honest, emotionally resonant portraits. We will analyse timing, anticipation of gestures, and the use of light as a storytelling tool. Group discussions and individual feedback sessions will help you strengthen your photographic identity and develop a coherent, personal visual approach. Recommended lenses for this Masterclass are 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm, offering versatility between wide environmental scenes, contextual portraits, and more intimate compositions. Bring a camera you are comfortable with, good walking shoes, and an open mind ready to explore and observe.
