Service Description

𝐁𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐎𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐮 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐮 & 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐬 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐢𝐤𝐨𝐬 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐬 Join us for four intensive days of street and documentary photography in Bucharest. Throughout the masterclass, we’ll photograph together every day in different parts of the city. We’ll work in traditional markets, train stations, public transport, busy streets, neighbourhoods, parks, and other locations that offer real documentary opportunities. Every day is built around a different environment, different light, and different photographic challenges. Each morning begins with a review session led by 𝐍𝐢𝐤𝐨𝐬 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐬. Together, we’ll look at the photographs made during the previous day. Every participant’s work will be reviewed individually, discussing composition, storytelling, editing, sequencing, and the decisions behind each image. These sessions are an opportunity to understand what works, what can be improved, and how to approach the next day with a clearer vision. After the review, we’ll head back into the streets. 𝗢𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘂 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘂 will work alongside you throughout the day, providing practical guidance in real situations. We’ll focus on observation, anticipation, timing, working with people, using available light, and building stronger documentary photographs. Every evening, we’ll return to the studio for a complete editing and critique session. Together, 𝗢𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗶𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗶𝗸𝗼𝘀 will review every participant’s photographs made that day. We’ll edit, select, print, and discuss the images, identifying both their strengths and the areas that need improvement. These daily critiques are one of the most important parts of the masterclass, allowing every participant to receive direct, individual feedback from both instructors. This masterclass is limited to a small group to ensure personal guidance throughout all four days. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝘀 For this masterclass, we recommend working with 21mm, 35mm, or 50mm lenses. These focal lengths are among the most versatile for street and documentary photography, allowing you to work close to your subjects, build strong compositions, and create meaningful visual stories while remaining immersed in the environment. If you’re unsure which lens to bring, 35mm is the most versatile choice and the one we recommend for most participants. Private WhatsApp group before the masterclass.
