🎞️ Unseen Stories in Genoa Two-Day Street Photography Masterclass 📍 Genoa | 📅 7–8 September Limited to 5 participants Genoa is a city of depth and contrast — less immediate than other Italian cities, but rich in atmosphere, history, and quiet human moments. Life unfolds through narrow alleyways, hidden courtyards, and sudden openings to the sea. This masterclass is built around observation, patience, and the ability to navigate complexity with clarity. Across two days, we’ll explore contrasting environments: • the dense, intimate world of the caruggi (old town alleys), where stories unfold in tight spaces, • the raw, everyday rhythm of local neighborhoods beyond the center, • the geometric layers of the port and its industrial edges, • and the shifting light from shadowed streets to open sea reflections. To deepen the experience, we’ll also work with a local guide who understands the city’s flow — its hidden passages, social dynamics, and natural rhythm. This allows us to move with intention and access scenes that feel real, not staged. Each location will challenge your way of seeing — from complex layering to minimal compositions, from harsh contrasts to soft transitions, from fleeting gestures to structured frames. The focus is not on shooting more, but on seeing better. What you’ll experience: • Themed photo walks through carefully selected areas of Genoa • Guidance from a local guide familiar with the city’s character • Practical coaching on observation, timing, and composition • On-location mentoring and individual feedback • Conversations around intention, simplicity, and visual clarity • Support in refining your personal photographic voice I will work with my usual street lenses — 21mm, 35mm, and 50mm — but you can bring any camera system you enjoy, digital or film.
