Izmir – 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 & 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 About This Event Join me for an immersive three-day masterclass in the heart of Izmir , where we’ll explore the city’s raw urban energy through the lens of street and documentary photography. This intimate, small-group experience (limited to just four participants) is designed for photographers who want to go beyond single moments and learn how to tell powerful, story-driven visual narratives. Together, we’ll navigate Izmir’s layered streets, historic neighborhoods, markets, and overlooked corners — learning how to see, frame, and capture with intention. What You’ll Learn: How to work with natural light in dynamic street environments Framing and composition techniques for compelling storytelling Building a photo series or visual story with a documentary approach Post-processing tips to refine your narrative and style A week before we begin, we’ll agree on a meeting point to kick off our journey. I’ll create a dedicated WhatsApp group to share updates, coordinate logistics, and stay connected throughout the experience. Accommodation is not included, giving you the flexibility to stay wherever fits your budget and style. Daily Schedule: Workshops run daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the possibility of extended sessions depending on the group’s energy and flow. On Day 3, we’ll close with an optional editing and review session starting after 5:00 p.m. If you can’t join in person, I’ll offer a Zoom session post-workshop to review your work and provide feedback. Gear Recommendations: I’ll be working primarily with 28mm, 35mm, and 50mm lenses, occasionally using a 70–200mm for layered or distant compositions. You’re welcome to bring any gear you’re comfortable with — mirrorless, DSLR, film, or mobile.
